About Franchesca Fontus, LMFT.

Franchesca Fontus is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Plantation who specializes in Life Transitions & Relationship Issues of the Professional Women.

Are you a professional woman, feeling the pressures of meeting the expectations of family, society, and others? You're stressed, experiencing self-doubt, going through transitions or beating yourself up about not being further along in life. You keep meeting the wrong partner or feeling unfulfilled in your current relationships.

Are you ready to find solutions?

Imagine being aligned with your purpose; feeling balanced, empowered and filled with joy. Now, imagine having the relationship that you desire, feeling supported, sharing the same values and knowing that you're with the right person. I help women thrive again, develop confidence, and have more fulfilling personal and professional relationships.

My passion stems from believing that every professional woman should have the freedom to define what it means to truly be living her best life! Women who have worked with me appreciate my candid and transparent, yet non-judgmental approach to therapy. I guide professional women in uncovering blocks that hinder their success.

Therapeutic Approach Happy-Woman-after-Individual-Counseling-in-Plantation-Florida

My experience as a therapist has strengthened my ability to help women work through challenges that often cripple them. I have worked with individuals, couples and families coping with issues of trauma, low self-esteem/self-worth, depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, setting boundaries, developing healthy relationships and more. My commitment to the field and desire to sharpen my skills to best serve my clients also leads me in pursuing a Ph.D. in Family Therapy.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I am the owner of Purposeful Exchange Therapy & Consulting, LLC. I have a Bachelors in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I am bilingual in English and Haitian-Creole.
When I’m not working, I use every opportunity I can to travel. I’m also a major “foodie”, so brunching or frequenting new restaurants are my favorite pastimes. I love spending time with family and friends, dancing, trying new activities or catching up on my favorite shows!
